Web Design Portfolio – 4 Websites That We Had Worked On

In the sea of projects that we have performed and achieved a cluster of satisfied clients who always return for more, we would like to present you several sites that we have designed. For the sake of the article length, we will not list all of them, but rather only a few examples from each category or type of websites so you could see our work. We have the full agreement of the owners to present their websites and even link to their sites. Feel free to ask any questions if you have!

Dandelion Seed Distribution

One of our regular clients wanted to work on the promotion of dandelion, as it is a nice flower that ornaments meadows! The client wanted a smooth website that explains why dandelions are cool and good for our meadows and therefore wanted to implement a minimalistic look.

Dandelion Seed Distribution

The website was made in three days and launched on the fourth day, whereas the client wanted no changes after he had seen the site! Dandelion seeds are dispatched by the client’s private business, while the website serves as an ordinary promotion. The client performed some off-page SEO though, while we had done the on-page SEO.

Private Airline Company

A small airline company wanted from us to launch a website that will present their flying services, as well as free transport pickup if you use their services. At first, we were stuck with the design, as the client wanted something to depict the hospitality and first-class service, but without too much pap.

The client is known as a strict person who always pays attention to the lowest details. However, we managed to pull out the best and leave him speechless. The website uses a really smooth color palette in combination with the transparent design that allows you easy scrolling and reading.

Decentralized library

With the extensive grow of the decentralized apps and work concepts, it is natural to see more clients who want to use this concept and technology for their projects. One of those projects was creating a free decentralized library with the pdf books that you can download without the fee.

Decentralized library

Although we had worked in cooperation with other developers who were under the client’s control, we have managed to create a nice looking library of knowledge. We also have implemented Bitcoin payments in case a visitor wants to support the project. One of the coolest projects we had!

E-commerce store for kid’s toys

This was one of our first e-commerce projects where we had to build a store that sells toys for kids and toddlers. The client wanted to keep it simple, yet colorful to attract kids and their parents to spend money. We had utilized modern technologies and built the Android/iOS app that kids can download on their phones and browse the store.

A random number generator is used for the awards engine, as every week a random account is awarded the special toy. It turned out that this app was a big-time shot, mainly as attracted much more customers, especially from Asia.

How To Create A Good Graphic Design Portfolio?

Do you want to know how to create a good graphic design portfolio? Well, we will give you the knowledge that you need to prepare a good portfolio to present your work in the best possible way! This article will give you several tips for creating a good graphic design portfolio for your future career, so make sure you follow all the tips we share.

Be selective about your works

The concept of sharing and presenting everything you have created is wrong. Not because some of the work is bad, but because you have better works than those in the beginning. As the time passes and you learn, you develop new ideas and you improve your skills.

Good Graphic Design

Therefore, take some time to go through the projects you have done and pick up only the best ones that you are proud of. If you do not like to work on business projects and you have done several of them earlier, then do not include these in your portfolio. Include only those that you love to work on in order to attract the clients that offer that kind of jobs and projects.

Display the variety of project types

A question for you: When you go buying clothes, do you like to see only underwear? Of course not, you would like to see t-shirts, shorts, jeans and so on. Avoid presenting only illustration works if you are able to work on different types of projects like website design or any other type.

This will attract only one group of clients who need illustration services, instead of many different ones. However, this is only if you are versatile and you can work on different types of projects. Do not forget to apply a nice and consistent background that will be appealing for visitors.

Include not more than 20 examples

No one wants to scroll endless page of your works but also no one likes to see two examples, as this does not give the confidence in your services and work. Instead of a quantity, go for quality and fear nothing. Do not go over 20 examples but also do not drop down under 10.

Graphic Design

Choose those that are eye-catching and have really innovative concepts and designs, as you want to drag the potential customers who would like to have a similar work. Use advanced web design techniques to present the projects in a cool and innovative way.

High resolution is a must

When you decide to buy a drawing for your house, do you look for the tiny details? If so, then you understand this. Graphic works must be available in HD format as the high resolution shows your work in the best possible way. Some clients will be too picky, and will zoom in to see every little detail. You never know if your client requests a physical example, so stay prepared for this. That is one of the things that young graphic designers do not pay attention to.
